Our Story

Vero Zavala, born in Ensenada, B.C., Mexico, on July 10, 1976, discovered her passion for jewelry making at a very young age. With her parents hailing from Jalisco, Mexico, she grew up surrounded by creativity and craftsmanship—her mother inspiring her entrepreneurial spirit and her father fostering her love for innovation.

Vero’s deep connection to nature began with a simple gift: an orchid. Fascinated by its beauty and resilience, she developed a profound appreciation for plants. This love grew when she moved with her husband to the lush paradise of Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico—a region rich in diverse flora. It was here that her passion for nature intertwined with her entrepreneurial vision, sparking the creation of her business.

She began designing artisanal jewelry, focusing exclusively on preserving natural leaves. Through a meticulous process called electroforming, Vero transformed delicate leaves into durable pieces of art by coating them in metals such as gold, silver, and copper. Each piece retained its natural beauty while becoming a lasting accessory.

Her journey gained momentum as she showcased her work at tourist events, forging meaningful connections with people from around the world. Among these connections was Kathy Klaus, a dear friend who introduced Vero to botanical printing—a technique that soon became a cornerstone of her craft. Kathy’s encouragement and a special gift from Australia inspired Vero to pursue this new art form with dedication and love.

For over six years now, Vero has perfected her craft, blending nature and artistry into unique designs. Every day, she pours her heart into creating pieces that celebrate the beauty of the natural world, turning her passion into a lifelong source of joy and fulfillment.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Each piece tells a story, and we’re honored to share it with you.
